To enroll in the program of a commercial pilot, you have to give an entrance test to the college. Students need to pass this entrance test to enroll in the program. 


  • Written entrance test


Students have to participate and clear the written entrance test to enroll in the program. This exam is organized so that your knowledge of the subject can be checked.  To become a commercial pilot you must take Psychics and Maths in 12th.


  • Aptitude test


As soon as you pass and clear your written test you have to take part in an aptitude test where your technical and practical knowledge related to a different kind of aviation knowledge will be checked.

  • Interview

Now, you need to move on to the next step which is an interview and further Medical test by DGCA. The interview can be done mainly in two ways: first by your college authority or second directly by the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) council. 

  • Medical test


Further through the DGCA Doctors, a candidate has to join in the medical test to ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria of medical fitness.

  • Experience


At last before giving the pilot license The DGCA authority requested and expects to have completed at least 250 hours of general flying experience on the student pilot license. A student gets a pilot license for their training before the original authority pilot license.
