What is Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM)?
Although sometimes used interchangeably, there are some differences between the two terms.
Logistics is all about the movement of goods from one place to another. SCM, on the other hand, is an overarching process that covers the whole range of activities required in flow of goods - starting from the raw components all the way to delivering the final product to the end-consumer. BBA in Supply Chain Management (SCM)
BBA in Supply Chain Management is a 3-year full time undergraduate course. The eligibility criteria for students is a Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) qualification, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%, completed from a recognized educational Board. Students of all streams (Science, Commerce, Humanities) can pursue this course.
Generally, BBA in Supply Chain Management course covers topics such as –

  3. ·         Transportation (Maritime, Air, Road, Rail, etc.)
  4. ·         Finance
  5. ·         Global Trade Laws
The course trains students and turns them into skilled logistics/supply chain managers. After doing this course, a lot of career options open for students. They can get hired with Shipping companies, Air, Rail and Road Transportation companies, companies involved in import-export business, etc. And the students also have the option to pursue an MBA.
